In this image, I have attempted to clean it up. First I used the healing brush to remove a stem of grass that bisected the outstretched neck of the bird (it was behind the bird, but I thought it was a bit distracting). Then, I did some cleaning in the water. Any other suggestions or comments are welcome.

I like the picture and the reflection holds my eye . This is subjective but I would clean up the upper left hand side using the clone or healing tool. My eye tend to migrate there pulling me off the main subject. I would crop from the top as well, take a sheet of paper and play with the best position to clean up the top edge but still show natural habitat. I noticed your ISO was 160 just curious why that number.
It is a busy shot but I like it, the long neck, reflection and surroundings make it unique and shows a great moment with nature - thanks for sharing and keep em coming.
Thanks Jeff, I will experiment with your suggestions. Although cleaning up the upper left side could get very tricky. Once you try to clean up the bent blade of grass, I might need to work with the reflection in the water as well. The ISO of 160 was set by the camera. I know, I should have taken a bit more control of this situation. But, I am still learning how to use my camera, and I am still a bit concerned about blowing opportunities like this one. I had the camera set on shutter priority.
Thanks for the response Ron, I use a 400 ISO most if the time lower than 200 reduces exposure flexibility. As you might know every time you double ISO you gain a stop of light hence a 400 ISO would have an extra stop of light to play with over 200 - that could be, for example a faster shutter or wider aperture. I agree with you regarding the cleanup opportunity this is one of the challenges of a busy background, the lower right corner has a distracting blade of grass as well. Many pros try and clean the edges of the frame that is why it is so important to control the four corners and frame the shot to start with.. but it is still a nice moment wit nature
