The head merge will cost me points, but I liked the light and flight pose.
The pink light was just water reflection from wood pilings in the river at sunrise.

nice image, like the light, good detail, not too bothered about the head merge, but would have liked a bit more head turned to us.thanks.
Sweet flight shot. Might take just a bit off the bottom. BG is killer.
Great flight pose.Loved it.Great composition, beautiful BG ,nice lights and details.
The head angle is losing you more points than the head merge ;-) I like the gliding pose and beautiful background.
I can see why you like this Dan and echo Daniel's sentiments,

Hey Dan, you're nailing these flight shots. Love the bg, light and exposure. HA is not ideal, as already noted.
Looking forward to more.
Great stuff Dan, nice two-tone background and sweet light...agree with Dan C on head merge/head angle.
Bruce

looking good Dan. the forehead whites a tad hot and I wish for a head turn towards us. nice to get one against a good BG!

Hi Dan, good detail on the osprey, sharp, and I like the placement in the frame. Killer BG. I have to agree that a better HA would have been a winner.![]()
Thanks all, I agree on the HA, But I still like it.
My BIF skills are improviing I think, but the D800 seems to have a really
good AF system and that helps a lot.
