Another from the Botanicals; f/8@1/100, 180mm lens. Disappointed in myself over the last two shoots; too many images where I stopped down had motion blur (I have GOT to start boosting the ISO now and then!); this one I wanted to stay with a fairly shallow DOF. RAW image processed in LR, simple curve adjustment in PS, followed by using one of the Van Gogh presets in DAP, tweaking the settings, saving as a PSD layer, then playing with the blend mode and the opacity before saving.

I like the blend of colors and the van Gogh look. I'd like to see a slightly different composition where the center of the flower was in the ULH rule of thirds point. It is obviously not centered here, but I'm thinking one might get a bit of a "looking down at you" feel with a slightly different crop. Very easy to look at image.

John, I like the softness combined with the great color tones. Nice work with the DAP filter. I'm thinking a sliver off the top.

Hi, John, nice Dap look to this. I think it's another vote for a little off of the top

hey John, like the processing on this one. I agree with Douglas, I'd like to see more flower on the bottom and right or so to get the center more "off-center". Just feels a bit tight for my taste. but that's just my opinion.

Thank you to all of you for the comments; used the crop tool to add some canvas and then content aware fill to "add some flower"......took a sliver off the top. Thank you again!
