This fine bird came to visit us on our journey around the Nuweveld 4x4 trail in Karoo National Park, South Africa.

Initially it came and sat on our wing mirror and checked itself out, then it was kind enough to perch on a nearby Acacia. 28th April 2012, a very dull day!

Excellent pose Ken, amazing at 200mm ! I guess if were my image I'd be inclined to clone out the two left most bits of foliage/thorn, but no biggie to improve ever so slightly, good enough as is.

Really good sharpness and head turn. Looks a lot like our mockingbird here in the US.

Very nice shot, fine detail, I would suggest warming the colours a little bit.

Hi Ken, I like the 'stately' pose, and you have captured excellent detail on the wagtail - sharp too. I really like the colours in the BG, but agree warming up the overall image will work too. Maybe a bit tight LLC.

Great comp and I like the marbled BG as well as the perch and the thorny branch next to it. I agree with Phil about the two "extra" bits of foliage at left, and with warming up the image a tad.
