Another classic view of Yellowstone from Artist point... I went for painting style using Topaz Simplify and then used adjustment layers for saturation and selective colors. Hope you like it...

One of my favorite places in YNP. Wonderful, classic shot of the Lower Falls; the canyon is a magical place. I might lighten the darker tones in the LRC just a smidge..and maybe recover some of the highlights in the river at bottom center...but those are really minor issues. Great color and tone, and you've retained a good amount of detail; you can even see the silhouettes of the people overlooking the falls on the platform above the falls and to the right. I REALLY need to get back up there!

Indranil, I've never been to YNP but hope to get there soon. This is a lovely scenic view of the falls. What is the green streak at the top of the falls?

Thank you John. I appreciate it. It is indeed an amazing place on earth! The fact that the much of it is the caldera makes it even more fascinating. Here is a repost with the suggestions...

Thank you Cheryl. It is an amazing place and addictive I think the green streak is algae. It is clearly visible even from distance.

Very nice comp, Indranil, and beautiful grand water fall scene! Like the simplify treatment, repost looks good - just wanting a bit more contrast / depth to the mist and the lower falls area.

Thanks Brendan. I did try contrast but it was wasn't appealing to me But I like your idea of trying it selectively and here it is...

Indranil, the composition and treatments make this a lovely piece, and I think I like the last repost best - it pops a bit more. Beautiful!!

Nice job Indranil! This is indeed a classic shot at YNP and you did a great job with it. The misty area looks a lot better with your last repost.
