    Default June Theme: Singing and calling: Common Myna.

    May 8, 2012. Very common bird and was calling with high pitch. Cropped and sharpened, adjusted contrast.

    Canon EOS: 550D, 100-400.
    Av mode,F:6.3.,1/640,ISO:800, Evaluative metering, White balance: Auto. HH.
    Exposure bias: +0.3 stop.

    nice detail in the feathers,may tone down the upper beak if it were mine,would add a bit more to bottom of frame,for invisable legs,thanks for showing.

    Good looking bird! I agree with Christopher's critique re. darkening upper beak and increasing legroom.

    good calling pose and nice low angle. good exp. main issue here is the Myna angled away from the viewer. TFS

    Really good exposure and detail, wish the head was turned this way. This bird has a strange looking eye.

    Great eye this guy has!! Nice grassy habitat, but I wish the subject wasn't angled away. Not a big fan of the scriggly BG between the bird and left edge. Good low angle, and I'm OK with the room at bottom as you wouldn't want to add more FG elements with any more canvas...
