    I liked the pose of this bird, soI used it to create a vintage photo but then the image really needed something so I added back the wing color.

    Adding back the wing color was a great touch. I like how the tail fades into the vintage coloring integrating the blackbird into the effect and not appearing just placed on the effect. Great minimalist composition.

    I love the pose; a bird with attitude/confidence! Adding wing color back into the image helps; this might be a nice one to do a "hand-painted" color process on; there's a lot of elements to like, and it has potential for several treatments that would still deliver a strong shot at the end. I might try to bring the eye on the right back a bit..to my eye it gets lost in the shadow...good work!

    Paul, nice simple composition with a great base image. I like the wing color brought back in and love the pose.
