Shot at Lake Nakuru , Kenya . The sheer number of flamingoes just crowd your senses so much that you forget about shooting any other water bird . Equally beautiful , the yellow billed stork is a very handsome bird with some striking colour and features .

    Cheers,
    Rakesh

Cant imagine what a marvelous spectacle all those Flamingos must make Rakesh, but the Stork is wonderful enough, particularly like the pink hues showing beneath the feathers. This bird stands out surprisingly well against the bright backdrop, good xposure must of been difficult but it worked very nicely

I like it! Perfect preening pose, and good techs. Love the water texture and low angle. I wouldn't mind the subject a bit lower in the frame, and I'd tone down the brightest BG patch that is touching the bill.

Loving it just as it is. A tough exposure situation handled very well. Colors are beautiful.

What an interesting Stork this is. Really nice colors, I agree about toning it down a tad, but a great pose and very nice detail.

    Rakesh,

I have not yet managed to get any good sightings of flamingos, but I have had quite a few of this beautiful stork, and this is a great preening shot. Colours are perfect
