Default Sunrise Reflections in the Colorado River

More from Horseshoe bend. As stated previously, the lighting and sky was lame that morning. So I tried to see if I could find some interesting comps in the canyon. Here, the canyon was in shadow so I used a 3 image HDR on this.

the spec is a boat. The angle I really wanted was impossible as I would need to be flying. So this is the next best I could manage.

The HDR is very natural looking - well done there. The river acts as a leading line through the image - wee done there. Works for me.

Michael I like how the sunrise accentuates the bend in the canyon. Nice image.

Well done and I have to agree with Roman, get rid of the boat.

Well, you certainly made the best of what was available. Very nice.

The boat would be great for scale - if it is recognizable, as a boat, at full resolution, then I'd keep it. Otherwise, I agree that it is a distraction.

I guess you need to bring a hang glider next time to get that perfect angle. :D
