I'm not sure about this one. Is the angle too steep?

    Gail:
I like the angle of the perch, full up wing pose, slight head turn towards us, but yes, the steepness of the shot holds it back for me.

Visually you can reduce the apparent steepness a bit by cropping up from the bottom, but at the cost of the nice perch.

    Cheers

Hi Gail. Angle is a bit steep, but you caught her at the perfect moment, with a nice head position and lovely perch. I'd keep it.

The angle doesn't bother me, cool wing position, A bit more saturation would look nice I think.

Hi Gail, well timed to capture the raised wing on pre take off, and you have managed to show detail there nicely. The goldfinch is nice and sharp, and I really like the flowery perch, but I too find the angle a touch steep.

A bit steep for me as well. But wouldn't toss it out either. Good timing on your part to capture this action.

Have to agree that the angle on this one really takes away from what would otherwise have been a lovely image.

Thank you all for your input. I won't delete the shot in my files but won't do much more.
    Will try again!
