Henslows Sparrow at last light
I was happy to be able to finally photograph this elusive (for me) sparrow. The area I was in was perfect for this species as there were many of them singing their song.

Mike:
Great calling pose, interesting perch, like the balance of the bird and the seed pods.
Very soft BG. I almost wish the green extended down enough to completely back the bird to help him pop from the very similar brown BG.

Great calling pose and a lovely BG . Love the balance in the image here . +1 on the Bg having a bit more green to help the bird 'POP' !!
This is such a terrific image, Mike. Perch, bg, light, pose - this one is top notch.

Beautiful. Love the pose and colours. Nice perch and background, although I can see what Randy means about the green in it.
