    Lovely clear shot, and I rather like the perch as well, we have these birds here as well, an introduced species, and they are very very shy. I've been trying for 3 years to get a great shot of one of these...still trying

    Very nice indeed, I like the perch and clear background. The colours are pleasing but I wonder what it would look like just a little bit warmer?

    Excellent perch and techs! Love the glance towards us. I thought the reds were more vibrant in this species, or maybe its just me? Very lovely nonetheless!!

    Jonathan, it looks good also a bit warmer and I do like the warmer version, the in camera image is warmer ("cloudy" white balance), a bit too warm compared to reality so I did adjust the temperature.
    Daniel, reds are not very vibrant in this species, but it also depends on light and angle, at least in my experience.
