Nice pose, perch, colours, vertical comp. I'd darken the bright area in the BG in URC, and as posted the image could use an additional round of sharpening to bring out the fine detail, especially in the face area.

Hi Steve, well timed to get the singing pose in full voice. Your comp suits the pose, and I agree with Dan on the sharpening and BG.

Its a great capture and will be improved by sharpening as suggested, but I suspect you will struggle to get any detail in the breast feathers

Great pose, colors, comp, agree with others on sharpening. Can I ask what your focal point was? Wing looks sharpest to me.

I'm always a sucker for a mossy perch such as this shows, a tad soft sadly, but love the " in full voice " posture

I like the singing pose, composition and perch. I agree with the BG and sharpening comments. Well done Steve!

This is a spectacular singing pose but I find the whole image soft.
