Another species from far north Queensland, Australia. This species only lives in a small area in dense rainforest. I was very fortunate to find a spot where I could get some good images of these guys. They are really beautiful birds in my opinion.

More about this spot and all the species I was able to capture there on my blog :)
You can also see an image without flash there and see yourself that you sometimes need a flash.

Shooting high ISo in dark conditios and while using flash you have to expose to the right as much as possible in order to handle the noise and to prevent to get an overflashed look.

Very nice image of a species I have never seen. You use the flash so well. Sound like the north QLD trip was great.
