    This was taken a few weeks ago. It is a fairly large crop so the IQ isn't great, but I liked image the mainly for the fish. C&C very much appreciated.
    Nikon D7000 Nikon 300mm 2.8 with 1.7 tc
    ISO 400, f8, 1/1600

    I agree...that fish really makes the image. Still a real nice capture.

    Nice action shot, good low angle and the fish is cool, especially seeing the fish's eye is a big bonus. I like the crop too. Only little thing I would consider is removing some of small white specular highlights on the bird's neck.

    Hi Cathy, I like this shot for the action and expressions. Exposure and color look good although maybe a bit on the yellow/green side of things. I can see quite a bit of motion blur in the image. Joel has a good suggestion, and if you remove most of those highlights the blur might not be as noticeable. Keep them coming!
