This is the before image of the plant growing on St Pete Beach, adjacent to the Sea Bird Santuary. The second image is the after effect with a slight modification to fit the theme.

    Enjoy!

Mark, yep, that's a slight modification It's pretty cool though, it looks like seaweed. I think I might prefer a different matte color.

Only a touch though :). Nice fluid look to the abstract.

Thanks Cheryl & Denise for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.Cheryl, I thought of changing it, but the color is the sky color so I left it and painted the other open areas to match. But that would be an option.

I'm glad you posted the before image as I would never have guessed! I like how some of the branches/leaves curve in the top part of the image. Would it be possible to do that in the bottom half? I think it would look better.

Thanks for viewing and comments Anita.

Not easily. It would have to be cropped and flipped and due to the twist would not be presentable, in my view. It's just one of those elements that are created by the process. I don't think cloning it in, in this case would look good. But thanks for commenting. I did look at flipping the whole image, but this was the most presentable version in my view.

I haven't tried the techniques you use so I didn't know what was possible. For some reason, that bottom curve with blue below bothers me--I think it detracts from the rest of the image. What about cropping the bottom so no blue shows? Just my take on an interesting photo.
