I finally captured one sitting still for a moment. This image was captured in the southern section of the Atchafalaya Basin in south Louisiana. It was taken mid morning, Jan '07.

This is very nice, Tim. I usually prefer separation between perch and head but it doesn't bother me here at all. Great light, details and BG, too.

Sweet shot, Tim. Wonderful light, bg, and exposure. Nice pose of the swallow too. My only nit is that the perch is a bit large for the little swallow, but thats very minor.

Beautiful capture Tim. I like the setting and pose. I think the perch, though large compared to the swallow is a great element and I would actually like to see it sharper and with the DOF. Is there a "string" around the perch starting near the toe? It looks a bit un-natural and I personally would clone it out.

    Regards,
    Larry

Absolutely gorgeous, and although centered, it works for me. I like the perch also.

A really beautiful shot. I love the colors and the perch is quite unique.

Absolutely gorgeous! My only nit would be I wish the whites weren't so hot.
