Skimmer Beach

This image was taken on the beach at St Petersburg, on our recent visit to the Seacoast Sea Bird Sanctuary. It is a worthwhile place to support, as they rescue and rehabilitate seabirds that are found injured along the beach or at sea. They brought in an injured Pelican when we were there.Their facilities seem well kept and the cages for the birds are large and offer water and perching areas. The beach had a restricted area for the nesting of the Black Skimmers that flocked there.

Modification in CS4 included; Selective Color, Hue &Saturation, Dry Brush and other normal PS image adjustments.

Hi, Mark. This looks like a neat place to visit - I'll have to Google it. I'd remove the black things on the right edge - I think the nesting skimmers would be more visible that way.

Hi Mark, I like the scene and processing. Maybe a little more separtion between the horizon and the top of the pier (but I guess getting lower or higher was not an option?)
