One black spot and one OOF leaf at URC are cloned.NR applied to BG. Cropped and sharpened. I hope HA is ok. Perch is bigger for Pond Heron.

    Satish:

Lovely fellow, first one I have seen in breeding colors. The BG colors go well with bird. Nice eye contact. Yes, the perch is a bit massive, and its size is emphasized by the lighter BG.

The head, although probably a sliver away, works pretty well because of the good eye contact.

    Cheers

I like the pose and the BG. I see some weird pixellation around the legs that is probably due to imperfect selection of the bird to do NR on the BG,

Great pose, and yes the HA is perfect. When it comes to big perches...if they are horizontal or relatively so, what I like to do is to crop to have them anchor the whole bottom of the frame. I like the effect it gives almost every time:

Thanks a lot everybody for your comments and suggestions. Agree with Gail Bissno about weird pixellation around legs ,in future I will take care while applying NR TO BG.
Thank you very much Daniel for composition and suggestion.
