    This is one of a series taken last week. The white specks are willow seeds, it was like a snow storm at times!

    Hi Jon, love the eye contact between junior and parent, and well timed to get the look back pose from junior, and the semi raised wings from parent. Your low angle of capture works well, and if anything, I would take a touch off the top - ( although I know you will disagree )

    Jonathan:

    The chicks have some wild coloration! I agree with Stuart, the interaction/eye contact between chick and parent makes this work. Raised wings add interest.

    As the self proclaimed pano king (comes from too many loon pictures!) I would also trim a bit off the top as all the action is lower in the frame.

    The willow fluff is interesting, but a little distracting.

    Hope to see more as they grow.

    Thanks guy's regards the crop I liked it .... until you suggested the pano then I scrolled the image up the screen to see the effect and yes I have to agree you have a good point.

    Very sweet! Would crop off the top and left.

    I will have a look .. but it is already quite a big crop, hopefully I will get some closer images tomorrow.
