    Default Northern Flicker(s)

Male and female were switching on the nest hole in every half an hour, at lest when I was there.
I was expecting them to fly out in a better angle to my position but it wasn't the case.
I selected my spot according to the best light direction and the best background possible at that spot.
Fligth direction was random as you might immagine.
    Thanks for coming.

Nicely framed and I love the background. Bummer that the sharp focus is on the rear bird.

Nicely timed. I agree with Artie on the focus, though
How about toning down brightness of the BG, Karl?

Karl, a really interesting shot of these great looking woodpeckers.
I think getting both really sharp given tha angle would be about impossible.
You did a really nice job at this.
I agree on toning down the bright patches in the BG.

Great flight pose of beautiful bird captured. Loved the lights and great details.

Nice nest location, you should be having some awesome opportunities shortly with the young ones! I like the image overall, but agree with the others' comments. I'd at least fill in the LLC with some greenery.
