    Lens : Canon 600mm f4 IS

Used a wide aperture to get a shallow DOF . This was shot at the resort at Lake Naivasha .

Only negative I see is the setting looks "domesticated". I like the light very much- those colors are showing really well thanks to your exposure. Might remove that reddish dot midway up the left side of the image?

    Rakesh:

I like the mirrored poses with good separation of the bodies from overlap, good exposure, sharp, mud on the bill.

Yes, the mown lawn looks a bit like hand of man, but the birds are very nice.

Agree about the few blemishes in BG.

    Cheers

I like the idea behind the image, well exposed and sharp as posted. I do wish the front bird was placed more to the left of the frame (actually, centered horizontally would have been ideal IMO) and I agree with the minor background clean-upsuggested. Well done overall!

I really like the mirroring of the sharp bird by the OOF one, and that even the OOF bird has a nice iridescent patch. Excellent sharpness in the near bird. A little minor BG work is all that's needed here.

The IQ is really nice here and the concept is good.
I would like to see a single bird photo, I would think you have one?
They are a very attractive species.
