    Ian:

The stilt is really nice, sharp, good exposure, nice eye, open bill, tongue. Good shooting angle.

Wish there was a bit more room to the right, and I get the impression it needs a bit of CCW rotation, based on ripples in BG.

    Cheers

Beautiful subject, well exposed, sharp, and love the open bill. I agree with some CCW rotation, and I would have preferred an horizontal crop with more room all around but mostly at right

Nice sharp eye with good red color. Exposure is excellent. CCW rotation and a horizontal crop will help the image IMO.

Beautiful pose, sharpness and exposure. I agree with previous comments about rotation and comp.

I like the exposure on this guy and like the open beak with the tongue visible and with the water droplets in between the mandibles. Agree with slight CCW. I would also clone out the smaller of the 2 catchlights

Thanks for critique, all. I have a little more real estate available and will loosen it up a bit.

    Gail, why remove the catchlight?

Are you folks sure about the CCW? If I use a perpendicular through the lower legs and the leg reflection, it seems right on to me (catching the BG water ripples at a slight oblique).
