    I posted a similar photo months ago of this Egret in a tree, but as I was going through files this evening dumping them,
    This one struck me. A desaturated BG and a Creepy pose.

    Nice and sharp with good exposure. I like the de-saturated BG.

    Hi Dan, something different, and I too like what you have done here. The egret is nice and sharp and well exposed. Im not sure what was to your right, But I feel to get rid of the busy BG on top, you could crop down from the top and create a horizontal. Add a little to the left as well if you have it.

    Dan,

    Greetings. interesting blue-orange contrast in the whites which adds depth but perhaps could stand to be slightly desaturated (for my taste).

    for me have a blue cast in some part of white.

    I love the feel of this on closer look. The b&w bg makes the egret stand out and I also like the raised foot.

    I really like the effect of the de-sat BG. Looks like the image belongs in a book of Edgar Allan Poe stories. (or maybe that was a raven)
