Another image from Joshua Tree NP. Three-image HDR (-1, 0, +1) converted in PS CS5 then further processed in Topaz Adjust. Out of my element with landscapes, but I'm eager to learn, so to speak... Magic golden light of evening, seriously enhanced.

Looks good, Kerry! I am not a big landscape guy either but I like the golden hour light and the sky here. The lower left corner is a little dark but has plenty of detail. I usually shoot 5 image HDR's, I wonder if a couple more brackets would have brought out more light in the dark areas and more drama? Good work as posted though!

Nicely composed desert scene, Kerry. Love the detail in rock formations and enhanced golden color. I'm new to landscapes myself, but I agree with Dan on trying for some more drama - maybe pulling more detail and tonal variation in the clouds.

Beautiful composition, Kerry. I like it a lot... nice details on the rock as well as the color saturation. I like the idea of tonal variation in cloud bringing our a bit more drama may add to the image. Nicely done.

Kerry, I like the sky on the right side but feel that the left side needs some additional drama as suggested by Dan. Nice work with CS5.
