This is a set up in my yard I was using it to test my new Version III 2X TC and I didn't have great light but with a tripod and image stabilization I was impressed.

Hi Joel, outstanding IQ with the new TC. I think a great combination of focal lengths can be had with the new 1.4x and 2x converters and the 500mm. You get 500mm, 700mm, and 1000mm, which isn't too hard to take... Maybe someday I'll win the lottery and have all that! Did you use flash on this one? Seems like there is an extra catchlight, and I would remove it and leave the natural one.

Hi Joel - beautiful image! I would have probably cropped some of the perch, but it actually looks really nice left alone.
