    Default Mega: Cream Coloured Courser

    Hi All,

That's what this chap's known as over here, first mainland record for Britain. It stayed a number of days before it decided to leave us however I managed a few shot's before it left.

    Hope you like it.

    Cheers,

    Carl.

    Hi Carl,
Nice sighting! The bird looks quite washed out so I would decrease the brightness of the entire image, add a bit more contrast as well and sharpen the head a bit.
The leg is blown out and I would try to recover that as well.
Nice shot with potential so definitely wotrh working on,
    Gail

Lovely bird and nice capture. Agree with Gail on this being much too bright. I have done a quick repost to give you an idea of what might work in terms of exposure. If you were to work from the RAW file you could do better with the white on the crown and legs. You may also wish to consider a vertical as well. Lucky you to have seen a photographed this bird.

Awesome bird, you must be very happy to have been able to photograph it so well! Marina's repost has really made a big difference. This guy pops beautifully from the BG. I love the comp as is.
