    Default Little Dipper

Well, the Big Dipper at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk...

I'd forgotten how much fun these are... appreciate the Bi-Weekly Theme. Processed tilt/shift effect here (my attempt to capture the miniaturization with my tilt/shift lens hasn't worked yet...).

It's interesting how our mind processes oof regions in an image.

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

Michael, this one really captures the essence of the challenge! I know it's a big roller coaster but it sure looks like a miniature! Well done!

Quite nice Michael. It looks like a toy roller coaster.

Great job Michael, this looks really convincing! I think I've ridden that one, great old "woodie".

This turned out great, Michael. Nice work with the miniaturization effect, and good choice for subject matter.

Ken, Cheryl, Andrew, Kerry, Brendan, Denise,

Thanks much... your comments are greatly appreciated. I was actually surprised that this one worked. I had thought that the subject had to be smaller in frame and at a lower perspective. I did use Ken's suggestion from other posts on more blur and punted on the use of a gradient... maybe that helped with the effect.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-
