Last Barred Owl in Flight

5D III, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, 1/1250, f/3.2, ISO 1600. HH from kayak. Thanks for your input so far on this series. My weak points seem to be intruding habitat and sharpness, since my monitor is sharper than most I tend to post images that look quite sharp to me but do not appear that way to most others. Regarding intruding habitat, I applied some blur to the branch above the owl to minimize the distraction.

I like the habitat you got here, and neat incoming flight pose. I'd prefer the owl higher in the frame. Regarding that tangle of branches above the head...I'd try the clone stamp on it to remove them completely. You can use a lower opacity with a soft brush and work from there, and in tandem with the patch tool...
