    Default Green Tree Frog.

I found this 1 inch long tree frog at Brazos Bend SP. I was trying to get a shallow DOF and have the front feet and eyes in sharp focus on this image...I'm pretty happy with the results.

Made with Nikon D80, Tamron AF 180/3.5 Macro lens @ f 5.6, SS 1/60s, manual focus, natural light in the shade, tripod, and remote shutter release. PP with Nikon NX 2.

Lovely shot I like the narrow DOF and the colours are amazing. The shape of leaf he is sat upon is just about ideal too.

Sharpness and details on the eyes are very good. I like the colors. The water on the leaf and the position of the leaf tip are also very nice. Dof works for me. Good job!

Hi Jim. This is one of your best posts! The eyes are razor sharp and the lighting is outstanding! I might wish for just a little more DOF to also get the "nose" sharp, but overall this is very well done!

Steve covered my thoughts exactly.....it looks great as is but with just a fraction more DOF this one would be over the top! well done!
