    Default Forster's Tern

I finally got out to photograph terns yesterday. here is one with a small snack. These guys are a challenge to get especially in strong wing. Had to take off the TC to keep up!

Excellent flight pose captured. Great exposure and beautiful details in grey and whites. Nice lights and BG . Worm is plus point.

Extremely fast birds, another excellent photo of skill and patience.
You are blessed with great light in the Bay Area.

Yup they fly faster than they look like in the photo, especially if they catch that tail wind!

Beautiful shot! I like how you had enough light to get seperation between the eye and black crown.

Great shot . If I could get the whites like that at least half the time I'd be happy.

This is great Arash. These guys are so fast. Your exposure is perfect. The hardest thing when photographing terns is getting a nice bright visible eye and you nailed it,

    Arash:

Excellent full up wing position, with nice angle in frame, sharp and beautifully exposed, worm a plus. Distinct eye, as mentioned is really nice.

    Cheers

Hi Arash, great angle from the Tern, eye contact, and I do like the wing position too. Overall well exposed, sharp, and his catch a bonus. One of best BG's Ive seen.
