    Default Solar eclipse composite

I shot the eclipse sunday and have been playing around with the images. Here's a composite of a stitched vertical showing the progress of the event, layered over a shot of the scene from behind my tripods. I shot the sun with my D300 + 400mm + 2X and the scene with my little Olympus ps. Most of the shots were made while wearing welding goggles! I did some straighening, NR and added a warming photo filter layer. C&C welcome

Very cool and dramatic composite, Dan. It looks like you were in an amazing place to watch the eclipse.

Nice work Dan, I like the way you thought OOTB to present this.
