Mitch, I like the 2 separate images a lot. I'm thinking I'd like the osprey a little smaller so that he looks like he's behind the palm trees rather than in front of them.

Lovely scene. The simplify filter works really well here. I agree the osprey looks a bit large in the frame. The lighting on the bird seems quite different than that of the background.
