    Light was low in the swamp a few days ago, I did what I could with the techs. 5D III, 70-200mm f.2.8 IS II, f/2.8, ISO 3200, 1/1000

    Colin:

    Good downstroke pose, with enough angle to show a nice dorsal view on his right wing. Well exposed.

    In a perfect world, would prefer to not be in front of the large tree trunk. The ISO effects are showing in the OOF areas, but considering the challenging conditions, well done.

    How are you finding the autofocus on the the III?

    Lovely flight shot wich i would be tempted to crop slightly from the left side.

    Love the bird emerging from its environment, but would have loved it more if he hadn't been in front of the light-colored tree. Would take out the white spot in the URC.

    Agree with Randy and Bill, but I would not crop it, I like it this way.

    Thanks for the comments- appreciated! Randy, coming from the 7D there is no comparison with AF. The Mark III is quite good!
