Not sure if this qualifies for this challenge. Slight crop, gradient

Hazel, I think this looks great! Did you use the tutorial? I hope I'll have time this week after work to attempt one

This is great, Hazel. Love the perspective and the way the buildings and cars look miniaturized.

Thanks. I only sorta used the tutorial. Read it, got the overall gist of it and then did my own thing. A slight crop, made a box with 150 feathering around the central area, selected inverse and gaussian blurred that a bit, then did several passes of a dark to clear gradient at 8% until I got the effect I wanted. Glad you like it. It was taken from my hotel in Chicago, 23rd floor, last December.

Hazel, Great job with the perspective. I love the off-kilter look to this and the miniature look of the cars.

This is very cool, OOTB composition Hazel! Love the angle, miniature effect and how you applied the inverse blurring. Well done!

Hi Hazel, your image definitely qualifies for the challenge! A narrow view of the street surrounded by tall buildings makes this a great subject for a pseudo tilt-shift. I think there are a few things you could do to make this even more convincing. You need a much more narrow band of in-focus area and the change from blur to in-focus needs to be less abrupt. I would also increase the contrast and saturation to make it look a bit more fake.

One of the problems I had when first working on these was going overboard on the amount of blur. It goes against everything I've always tried to do when editing!

Hi Hazel, a great perspective here. I think you're on the right track with it and Ken's suggestions will take up to the next level. Great eye for this one!
