    With a tasty snack in view.
    Taken while hiking the Deschutes River in Central Oregon this weekend.
    There were those unique basket nests everywhere, chick pics to come.

    A really pretty setting for this colorful oriole. I could see it tighter as well.

    I'm holding my breath for the "chic pics" to come, but seriously nice capture and I agree a tighter crop would work well too.

    Really like this shot - pretty bird, nice environment, soft light and a bug. Personally, I wouldn't crop it tighter - from the top, you lose the bug; from the right you loose the flower; left and bottom and you get too tight on the bird and tail.

    Hi Dan, lovely soft light, and I do like the attentive stare of the oriole on her prey. Im going with Gerald to leave your comp as is, as cropping tighter will 'chop' off the flowers.
