Dew drops on a tiny plant next to the poppy fields. The original is in Flora and Macro, which this certainly is.

Gees M8t, I remember the series of these shots and exactly how good they are. You always know an excellent shot by how you remember it.

I absolutely love what you have done to highlight just the drops, you clever bugga . This is outstanding in my book Steve, just awesome work and result sir. :) :)

All the best way up north Steve. Again, very clever ;)

    Steve,
This is very impressive! Could you please explain how you make images like this, both the original image and what post processing you did (at least in general terms)?

    Roger,
    Thanks,
I shot the original with a macro system. Check the explanation in flora and macro. I moved the left side drop and added the cut off portion to make it whole. Then I did a dupe layer, altered it in Fractalius and erased some parts so the details show through. Now for real artistry, look at Danny's stuff. He is a master beyond what I know. He uses photoimpact a lot. I will be getting an updated version of that and hope to learn more from him.

I saw your original in flora/macro and it's a brilliant shot. I'm crazy about the effects you get with Fractalius!! I love this one!

    Roman,
They were fixed before your comments. More drops to follow. I think the best have been seen, but hope the rest will be fun. I still have not gotten out to the poppy fields this year. Perhaps next week. not much time left, so it must be done fast.
    Steve
