    Photographed this Greater Flamingo in one of the numerous Stagnos in southern Sardinia.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark IV
    EF 500 IS L
    Tripod

    70% crop of FF + canvas extension to LHS

    Processed in Canon DPP + PS CS6 tryout ; NR, LCE ,Levels,Curves through lum Mask,Vibrance,web sharpening.

    Hi Andreas, super pose with the open bill from the youngster, and overall, the flamingo is nice and sharp. I do like the colour of the water, but if this were mine, I would maybe tone it down a touch. I would like to see more space right and top.

    Pretty pose , nice open bill and detail. Thw water color is nice and I like it toned down but now I see a slight halo arount some of the bird. I also see a slight blue cast on the image not sure if it's just the water playing tricks on my eyes?

    Cheryl no tricks with your eyes,i think it is just because i went only for a sloppy selection for toning down the BKG.
