This is really different stuff for me - I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea - I'm not sure it's mine either This was the front light of a Masterati or some kind of exotic sports car that I saw at a Car Show last weekend. It was almost monochromatic to begin with so I used Topaz B&W, the Nik Detail Extractor and Film Efex Modern - Kodak Ultra Color 400UC. I think it is cool to see how different the films can be.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated

Cheryl, this is very striking and well-composed. I particularly like how you cropped it. The lighting is wonderful, too. Good work!

Cheryl, This is way different than the norm for you but I love the graphic quality to it. The composition is nice also. For fun I might try to exxagerate that starburst with Star Effects if it were mine.

Hi Cheryl, Having been involved with a motor racing facility for several years, I can say that automotive art can be a big time thing. Some of the exotics and vintage cars can be rolling works of art in themselves. I can say that this image with it's bold lines and power could fit in nicely with some of the best I've seen. May not be your norm but you've handled it extremely well. I like Denise's thought on exagerating the starburst. It may also have been nice to have the point in the lower lc be complete.

Dave, do you happen to know what kind of car it is? I should have written it down. I never thought I could be interested in car photography but I really, really love doing it. The lines and forms keep me enthralled. Thanks for your kind words I can recrop it - I cropped just a little closer right before I posted and clipped that lower corner.

Very cool, Cheryl! I never had any interest in the vintage car shows they have around here, but after seeing this maybe I'll check it out next time they have one of those shows around here.

Hi Cheryl. From the shape of the headlight opening, this looks to be a Lamborghini Gallardo. I checked with my son who has taken over my duties at the Motorsports Park and he helped with the identification. He has shot these on track in the past. Quite an exotic and you have done it proud.

Yes, an eye catcher....the details of the car itself looks almost like fabric with your rework....and I like that. Gives a great contrast to the taillight. Great crop. someties it's fun to reach outside your own personal box, isn't it!

The tonality is great, and the compositions draws the eye in. I think it is quite effective.
