    The shot was made on the Waterville Plataeu, WA. Jan. 08. Nikon D200, 24-120mm, f16, 1/200sec, ISO 280. All other settings were COLD.

    There are some days I really miss the snow. Maybe some more contrast?

    I like the composition and feel of the image. The cool (tone) of the image is just right. My suggestion would have been just like Leroy showed in the repost, a bit more contrast to make it pop.

    Hi Dan,
    I like the extra contrast Leroy added. Nice winter scene. Even feels cold........so it was successful,

    WOW...very nice image, brings back memories of my childhood in Up State New York. This one really sets the tone... Its cold...:eek:
