Amboseli is a great place, the symbol of Africa, a huge number of elephant herds roam free in this paradise. Nick Brandt's amazing images made me visit this place...and so did Toto's song "Africa" from the 80's when I was growing up...

That morning, we waited and waited for the clouds to appear and an elephant to show up....it finally happened , phew !

    Just beautiful Kiran
An iconic image. very nicely done! Like the single elephant slightly separate from the herd ,and the detail in the distant mountain. Nicely done
    cheers

Kiran - your wait was well worth it. I agree with Grant - iconic image. I think there may be a couple of dust spots on the mountain on the rhs.

Beautiful scene and elephants add lots of interest. B&W works nicely but would love the see the color version.

A classic scene I would love to photograph.
Would also like to see the colour version just for comparison.
If anything I wish there was one ellie a bit closer
