White Pelicans

White Pelicans, MN

Day one of Black bears and more workshop. The pelicans were outstanding this afternoon.
The one with the open beak is hoping the pelican above drops its catch. We were all in awe as watched the pelicans catch and devour 20 plus inch 4-5 lb suckers. AMAZING!

Hi Charles,
nice action shot with good exposure,colors and comp.the details on the birds are slightly too strong and on the background even stronger.i would reduce LCE from the BG to make the pelicans more standing out.

Very interesting behavior, but it takes a bit of work to figure out what's going on.
