    I was pleased to capture Mr and Mrs Stilt trotting across the mudflat so close together this morning. The image is not as sharp as I 'd like, but with my setup (2X) I often have to settle for a less than "perfect" picture.

    This shot really shows the differences between male and female. I like the parallel head positions and the muddy feet.

    Have to agree with Gail, good composition but too bad they didn't stroll past you earlier in the morning.

    Lots of good stuff here, love the striding poses, the non merging (other than legs). Agree a bit harsh/bright.

    On the repost, I ran a luminosity layer, with a mask, multiply blend layer at 79%, selective sharpening. You can do better on the original.

    Worth another look IMO.
