    Another favorite from Florida.
I had to add some canvas up top and crop from bottom and left ~ 10% for comp. I am not sure about this comp. Any suggestions appreciated.

It's uncommon to see a spoonie this year. great job on capturing it. I really like the HA and the low shooting angle. The water droplets are a huge plus and I like the darker BG. I think you did very well here, and I understand why it's one of your favorites.

    Gail:

He looks young, fresh, and full of vigor. Like the low angle, drops, comp. I am rather a fan of a pano crop for birds because of all my loon images, which go well with a pano.

I have a sense of a parting line starting about 3/8" below the top of the frame on my monitor. Not straight or even, but visible. If I didn't know about the added canvas, probably wouldn't have looked at that area so carefully. It could be natural of course, but I would look at where you added your canvas to be sure!

    Very sweet overall!

    Nice one Gail,
the only thing is (to me) the whites are too hot for my taste.

Excellent low angle and techs. White look the way white should look IMHO - certainly not hot. Drops are great. Not keen about the BG.

Hi Gail, great perspective here - were you in the water? I like the eye contact and exposure on the whites and pinks, and just love the drinking behaviour with the flying droplets. I feel your comp is spot on, and wouldnt change a thing.

Ilike this one, alot. I'd tone down or fully eliminate the large green spot touching the upper edge (and the one directly at ULC), but all else works really well for me.
