    Default Kentucky Warbler in Habitat

Tried to do something a little different here and include some habitat in the frame, since this is classic Kentucky Warbler habitat (low in the understory, lush green woodlands ect.)

Photographed in Massachusetts on May 11, 2012 (a pretty rare overshoot here)

Beautiful shot Ryan. Excellent colour and detail. It's very well exposed too.

Beautiful image, Ryan, love the detail and IQ and comp. Wonderfully done. Only wish the perch weren't so large so the broken off end didn't distract quite so much.

Holy bats! A kentucky warbler out in the open! Quite the photographic coup, at least where I'm coming from. Here in southern Ontario people would lose their minds over an opportunity like this! Lovely details and terrific light; very well captured indeed. I like the environmental bits and sure, I'd love it if the o.o.f. brown branch wasn't behind the k.w., but jeepers, man! In such situations one must take what one can get. Thank you for sharing this, it's a treat for my eyes...

Very well done Ryan, nice exposure and detail. I like the habitat and getting one rather open and still is a treat.

Wow! All wood warblers are tough, and around here, Kentucky's are hard just to see, much less to photograph. To get one this nicely, sharp and with perfect pose, is a real coup. Excellent work! Congrats.

This is my kind of photo I get a bit bored with the bird on a stick with out of focus background tyoe of shot. Well done in doing something different. Nice photo.

I love the included habitat here, well done. The subject looks pretty good too! Very nice IQ. I'm not a huge fan of the broken off perch, but from the sounds of it getting this guy in the open is quite an accomplishment...so congrats on that!
