    My first tentative steps to posting on here, a new comer to Avian Photography over the last year.

    Hi David,
    Like the compositions, the vertical and diagonal lines work for me, maybe a little more room below.

    Hi David,
    Lovely little bird. I like the vertical composition and the side lighting.
    If this is not against your standards I would clone out the OOF branch on the right hand side of the frame and the branch sticking up out of his head.
    The band is very unobtrusive so I would leave it as is.
    I might also try to lighten the shadows on the right side of the body by playing with S & H in photoshop-if you have it.

    Thanks Gail, I agree with all your helpful comments, will have to look into getting photoshop,
    I will put u a few more shots as these kinda comments are really helpful in the learning process, having seen some of the images on here it was a bit daunting submitting my fledgling attempts
