    Default Tree Swallow

I got a chance to attend the recently concluded Biggest Week in American Birding for a few days. It is really amazing how many good birding locations are there in northwestern Ohio right next to each other.

This is a tree swallow in the evening light at Ottawa NWR. I made the shot with a Canon 7D and Canon 400mm f/5.6L with a 1.4X teleconverter on a tripod.

Post-processed in Lightroom. About 50% crop.

    Focal Length 560mm
    Shutter Speed 1/160 sec
    Aperture f/8
    ISO/Film 800

Comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.

Mohib, beautiful image that could be the poster shot for the 7D/400 club! Technically correct and esthetically pleasing, this image is very nice. I could only suggest toning down the post/perch a bit. We have these birds in my area also and I love watching them!
