    Nice detail, excellent exposure. Good composition. The usual, you are the master

    The only thing I might do if it were mine (other than being glad it were mine) would be to try to darken a bit the brighter green spot on the background at the bottom-left. It attracts my eyes a bit (although it might be the lack of sleep as well).

    With all those images I'm now convinced I have to build some kind of setup in my backyard. Not the space and background I would dream of, but I really have to give it a try.

    Joel, lovely image and excellent techs as always. Absolutely gorgeous rendition of color and just the right amount of sharpening IMO. I would like to point out that you have a fixed distance to your subject, so the manual setting for the flash works well.

    Wow! This one is a beauty. The separation between the subject and the background is very clean. Not to mention the very nice bokeh.

    Joel! This is gorgeous! Nice work on the colors on this bird....i will have to look for these birds myself....I agree you might consider toning down the brighter green on the left
