    Photographed this bird at Little Estero Lagoon early one morning. I nicknamed him/her, "The Boss"!

    7D, Canon 500 f/4L IS, ISO 400, 1/400 @ f?6.3 + 2/3, Gitzo GT3530LS, Mongoose M3.5a

    Roger, stunning composition. the look, the reflection, the calm water, the low angle...superb.

    If mine, I'd keep tad more room at the top though. and use a warmer WB.

    I can't decide on that lone feather though sticking out from the rear...leave it or remove it.

    I appreciate all your comments! This was shot as a horizontal, so I'm at the top (and bottom) of the frame here. However, it would be easy to expand the canvas with the uncluttered white background.
    Doug, one of the most often expressed comments has to do with the lone feather - to leave or not. It hasn't been a huge distraction to me, so I chose to leave it for comment.

    Powerful image - has punch. Certainly add more canvas to the top.
