    Hi all,

Been a while since I posted anything - life has felt like a train-wreck lately! Anyway, this image is of the critically endangered Helmeted Honeyeater, a subspecies of the Yellow-tufted Honeyeater. Taken after a release of captive-bred individuals (hence the band) into one of their remaining populations near Melbourne, Victoria.

    Comments welcome.

Such a wonderful image of an endangered species. I like the diagonal of the perch and the pose of the bird. That gray BG really compliments the bird as well. Very well done.
